At present, the company has three automatic assembly lines and auxiliary automatic sorting lines, pressure measurement equipment, automatic delivery platform and other essential devices. The complicated technique and high precision lead to the high cost and difficulties in maintaining the original devices. In addition, the overdue after-sales service adds to the existing troubles.Therefore, the equipment team in this company courageously explored and verified the feasibility andconformity of substituting devices made in China and independent processing and replacement, negotiating with various experienced maintenance factories, and established a 24/7 emergency maintenance relationship of cooperation, forming a device maintenance system mainly relying on device teamin the company with other factories as assisting force. When the devices fail to work, the team timely recognizes the cause, independently repair and replace devices, making the equipment operative in the shortest period of time.
The efforts of the three major maintenance projects including inflator malfunction, parallel machine malfunction and the robot installation fault dramatically cut the cost, realizing “zero production halt” in the first half year and providing assurance for the next half.
